The exact same general idea applies for the platelegs, except that Dragon platelegs are a lot cheaper. Now, how much does it cost to fix (convenience of fix isn't an issue since there are NPCs from OSRS gold Lumbridge, Khazard, Burthorpe, Void Knight Outpost, and you may also do it on your house)?
Less if you're doing it in your house and you really have a medium smithing level (50, for example, will make it cost ~ $70k). Let's rounded up and call that 100k, just as we're rounding down the cost of Torag's to 300k not 340k. 86*15=1,290, which is how many hours you would have to be fighting this (not just wearing it) until you spent up to it as you would a dragon platebody.
For reference, 200 hours would be a long time to receive a skill to 99. This degrades in battle. Not only wearing it. The stats don't degrade gradually. They are good and then they stop as it proceeds from 25% to 0%. I can't understand why you would pay vastly more for an inferior part of armour solely depending on the need to fork out tiny sums of cash every 15 hours of combat. The reason why dragon platebodies are so pricey has nothing to do with their usefulness: it is only as they are hard to get.
If not I will be receiving a Bgs, then a pair of claws with any surplus money... After that cheap RS gold remainder of money goes to leveling mage, pray, summ or herby. . I wont be training which for a while. . .) , and 70 range, and possibely even veng l0l. . And then, I would have a cr hopefully.
